At Christ Church Kitsilano, we are men and women who want to know God. In His wisdom, God inspired the Scriptures to be written to reveal His character and His works to us. God wants to be known, and He has made Himself known through the words of the Bible. What a fortunate thing it is that God has revealed himself to us in His Word. If we want to know God, we need to be people who study His Word.

Men's & Women's Bible Study

Our men and women meet on alternating weeks for bi-weekly Inductive Bible Study. These groups run through the fall and winter/spring terms. Visit our events page for full details and registration.

What is Inductive Bible Study?

Inductive Bible Study is a method that helps us study Scripture well. It helps to slow us down and notice what is written so that we can have a better understanding of what it says and what it means. There are three basic aspects of “investigating” any section of Scripture:

  • Observation – what does it say
  • Interpretation – what does it mean
  • Application – what does it mean for us today
